Mission

We understand that our travel destinations hardly compare to the Bahamas or Hawaii when it comes to the number of travelers or infrastructure. Thus, we plan and work accordingly. Оur tour is tailored towards individual and small group travel.

The desire of traveling to Russia is often generated by an interest in history, art, literature, mystery and intrigue, romance, and family heritage. We can guide you through local attractions and little pleasures of life enjoyed by locals.

Tynda-the BAM capital

In the early 1970s the Soviet government launched a giant project targeting untapped mineral and lumber resources of the Russian Far East. It was to be called the BAM Railway. Tynda became the capital and administrative center of the BAM, and it was built for this role. Many young people came to the BAM following adventure and romance. The collapse of USSR has put great strain on all Russians, especially those in remote areas, but it is this attitude of self-survival and enjoyment of each other’s company that keeps cities like Tynda going…

Itinerary:

1) 3 hrs, driving tour w/ guide:
Our driver and the guide will meet you at the agreed location (either your hotel or city center) and take you around Tynda city making stops at the recently built church, school, train station, city hall, Post office, bazaar and old town with houses built by the first settlers. After the city tour, you will be taken to the top of a nearby mountain for panoramic views of the city and surroundings. Our last stop will be the museum of BAM history.

2) 5 hrs, driving tour with guide & assistant:
This tour will take you to Tynda’s countryside. After a short sightseeing excursion around Tynda, our guide and the driver will take you to the local Resort built for railroad workers (16km/10mi from Tynda). People in Tynda love outings with bon fires and guitars. It is the best environment for socializing, stories, anecdotes, and conversation. Upon arrival to the resort, the guide will invite you for a picnic with Russian Vodka (optional). Russian Banya is available upon request. If the time is right, feel free to hike in the forest or pick mushrooms and berries. In the winter, you are welcome to experience cross country skiing accompanied by temperatures ranging from minus 30C to 50C.
